Phenomenon is not only a body of running into a mere legend of Toraja for today's younger generation but the real story was from hundreds of years ago has resurfaced in Toraja , Here is the story of a blogger , his experience watching dead men walking .As the original Toraja.
I was often asked by teman2 about the unique culture of Tana Toraja in particular about the phenomenon of walking corpses . I was born and grew up in Tana Toraja so I know about the customs and culture in Tana Toraja , although no overall control of the origin and all sorts of Toraja traditional trappings .Story walking corpse has been there since time immemorial . hundreds of years ago is said to be civil war in the Tana Toraja people Toraja Toraja Western war against the East . The incident occurred around 1992 ( my new 3rd grade ) . at that point in my village there was a man named Pongbarrak whose mother died . such as the Toraja traditional bodies were buried immediately but still must go through the customary funeral procession ( signs solo ' ) . when the mother had washed the corpse is laid on a bed in a private room before being put into the coffin . on the third night the whole family gathered to discuss how the funeral procession which will be implemented later . at that time I was sitting on the front porch so the children understand love fro . but after the meeting ( around 10 pm ) , there was a sudden noise in the house where some women screaming . out of curiosity I tried to look into the house and gee the corpse to walk out of the room , just me and teman2 cash I screamed hysterically and ran down the stairs . I ran and got my dad while hysterical fear . after that I was immediately taken by her father to come home and I do not know what happened next . The next day the incident was apparently quite excited discussed by citizens and the information I have heard that Pongbarrak who do so . he allegedly wrote fraudulent to make jokes at the dinner.In the current era is extremely rare Toraja people who practice it , although there are still many generations who have such knowledge . but they are still often practiced on animals such as chickens or buffaloes are pitted in a state of disconnected neck .
